On the fourth Wednesday evening of each month, we have a workshop where club members work on a variety of hands on activities.  They include cabbing, faceting, jewelry making - both wire wrapping and beading, making gem trees, and rock candles.  Some of the items made are sold as fund raisers for the club.

Rock Swaps
Our club exchanges local rocks and minerals that we have found with other rock and mineral clubs around the country.  We have traded with clubs as far away as Alaska.  Currently we are exchanging rocks and minerals with a club in Wyoming.
