This time of the year it is hard to predict good weather more than a few days in advance. If a trip is scheduled and the local site weather forecast is for rain, snow or sleet, the trip will be canceled. If there is snow or ice on the ground even though the weather is clear the trip will be canceled due to the obvious safety hazard.

If there is enough time, an email broadcast will be sent out with the cancellation. It will be impossible to call everyone, so if there is any question it will be your responsibility to call Dave for the latest update. Dave will wait usually until the day prior before making the go-no-go call as conditions change rapidly unless the day in question is obvious.

Dave can be reached at 540-297-1853.   If he's not in, leave a message with your number and he'll call you back. You can also call Royce Wickham in Roanoke at 540-427-1424
